I think you could fall in love with anyone if you saw the parts of them no one else gets to see. Like if you followed them around invisibly for a day and saw them crying in their bed at night or singing in the shower or humming quietly to themselves as they make a sandwich or even just walking along the street. And even if they were really weird and had no friends at school, I think, after seeing them at their most vulnerable, you wouldn’t be able to help falling in love with them.

tyra banks: 10 beautiful ladies stand before me
tyra banks: but i only have nine pictures in my hands
tyra banks: and they're all of me
tyra banks: lol
I miss the “talking stage”

the butterflies,
the flirting,
losing sleep,
the good morning/night texts.

Call me old fashion but…

When it comes to losing your virginity, I believe it should be with someone worth while. Recently, one of my friends, had lost her v-card. I’m not judging her but when I look at the situation, I feel like her naivie self made a mistake. Three weeks of being someone’s girlfriend shouldn’t make you want to do it with them. It should make you want to get to know them more and grow close with them and when that moment comes, it’ll feel just right. I feel like today’s society encourages people to have sex just cause others are doing it and to say yeah I’m more experience than you. But i think people should understand that sex is something special. It’s the moment you give yourself up to someone and the first time is something you’re going to want to be memorable. I’m not saying wait till marriage, but I’m saying wait till you actually love that person.

America is a melting pot. There are many different cultures that create what is known as the United States of America. From the beginning of time, people would migrate  from place to place to find their definition of home and to find their definition of freedom. America is the definition of home and freedom to many immigrants. They see this country as a land that can offer refugee to the hardships their country provided. They see this country as a land of opportunity and to live the American Dream.  One immigrant in particular who sees how wonderful this country is, is my family friend, John. John and his family came to the United States legally because his dad was employed here. Unfortunately, his dad passed away. Without his dad’s working visa, him and  his family are struggling to fight to stay here and prove that they belong in this country.
